By accessing or using the Rivarna website (rivarna.com) and placing orders through it, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our services.

These terms apply to all visitors, customers, and others who access or use the website. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the website following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. The date of the most recent revision is noted at the bottom of this page.

All Rivarna products are hand-painted originals. Due to the nature of hand-crafted work, minor variations in colour, brushstroke, and composition between the product photographs and the physical item are inherent and expected — they are not defects.

Product photographs are taken under controlled studio lighting and are as accurate as possible. However, screen calibration differences may affect how colours appear on your device. If colour accuracy is critical to your purchase decision, please contact us before ordering.

We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time. Prices are subject to change without notice, though any order placed before a price change will be honoured at the price shown at the time of purchase.

By placing an order, you represent that you are of legal age to form a binding contract and that all information you provide is accurate and complete.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including orders that appear to be placed by resellers or for commercial redistribution. If we cancel an order after payment has been received, a full refund will be issued within 5–7 business days.

All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable GST. Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address and the current shipping configuration.

Payment is processed securely at the time of order. We do not store card details on our servers.

Commission orders are subject to a separate agreement confirmed via email before production begins. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to commence work. The remaining balance is due upon completion, before dispatch.

By commissioning a piece, you grant Rivarna the right to photograph the completed work for portfolio and marketing purposes, unless you explicitly request otherwise in writing at the time of commission.

Commission timelines are estimates. While we make every effort to meet agreed deadlines, hand-crafted work is subject to the natural pace of the medium. We will communicate any delays promptly.

All designs, artwork, photographs, text, and other content on this website are the exclusive property of Rivarna and its artisans. All rights are reserved.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, or commercially exploit any content from this website without prior written permission from Rivarna.

Purchasing a Rivarna garment grants you ownership of the physical object only. The underlying artwork, design, and intellectual property remain the property of Rivarna and the creating artisan. You may not reproduce the design on other products or for commercial purposes.

Our full returns and exchange policy is detailed on the Returns & Exchanges page. By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree to the terms set out in that policy.

In summary: ready-to-wear pieces may be returned within 14 days of delivery in unworn, original condition. Bespoke commissions and sale items are non-returnable. Damaged or incorrect items must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Rivarna shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our website or products, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim.

We do not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
